Professional Purchasing Seminar

& CPP Preparation

DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR, THE BEST
The best purchasing review seminar available, bar none.
A real deal as this seminar is a great overview of the essentials of purchasing while getting prepared for certification. Why get certified? Because certification pays, not only for you, but also pays good returns for your firm.

REASONS TO GET CERTIFIED
Year after year, surveys indicate that Buying Agents who have a certification get higher salaries than those who do not. The most recent salary survey by Purchasing Magazine tells us certified professional purchasing people earn 17% more than those that are non-certified. The 2010 survey by the American Purchasing Society indicates that certified Buying Agents earn 11.3% more than those that are not certified. In fact, during the past few years, the average salaries for non-certified Buying Agents actually dropped while those with certification rose. That is reason enough for most.

PREREQUISITE TO CERTIFICATION
The Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) program is open to all qualified persons who have demonstrated high character and the skills to successfully implement improved purchasing, materials management or supply chain practices as part of a business solution in an organization. There is no need to be a member of any association.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Experience is required to become a Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP). A minimum of three (3) years purchasing related experience OR a degree from a recognized college plus two (2) years of purchasing, materials management or supply chain related experience.
