Richard W. Amling
Richard Amling has more than 27 years of purchasing experience at 3M
Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of 3M Company. He is a recipient of numerous
awards for outstanding purchasing achievements, including a two-time winner
of 3M's B.B. Countryman Award.Amling has been involved in all facets of purchasing from buying to managing. He brings both the practical side of purchasing as well as the theoretical. A graduate of U.C.L.A., he continued his education taking special purchasing courses, leading to receiving U.C.L.A.'s "Professional Designation In Purchasing." Since 1980, he has been presenting purchasing seminars. He taught purchasing courses at Claifornia State University, Northridge for 17 years.
His presentations include seminars for N.A.P.M. and A.M.A. He has been associated with Nahabit & Associates, Inc. since 1980 and serves the industry as a teacher, consultant, and author.
